In the Cold War, MI6 urgently calls historian Hugh Trevor-Roper and Oughton, a mysterious CIA agent, to investigate the death of Heinrich Mller, a double agent and former SS General. The tension between both agencies is high, and, more to identify the murderer, the agencies want to know which of the two organizations is more contaminated by double agents.
