Publisher's Synopsis
Nuri, his wife Afra, and their son Sami live happily in Aleppo. He is a beekeeper and she is an artist. When war comes, they have to flee. They escape to Turkey, then Greece. Nuri brings up happy memories to try and keep hope for a better future alive while they struggle to get to England, where her cousin awaits their arrival.
