Publisher's Synopsis

One act plays bind us together with real life events and connects one person to another. It is primarily based on truthful circumstances and our daily life environment. It creates an aura of instances which goes around us. Plays entertain people through lively set ups and leaves a positive impact and message on the audience. Sometimes it is a big jolt to the superstitions prevailing in a society and other times it becomes a revolution that helps in eliminating the unnecessary radicles and obstacles hampering the growth of a society.

To eradicate the superstitions which are prevalent since so many decades is the essence given in the play - 'DAAYAN'. It compels the viewers to think about anti-socio problems and acts as a sword to satirize our living conditions. On the side, the play "Khel Khel mein" portrays the way mobile phones have laid a road of destruction for the youth and is a negative element which has disrupted the values in children. "Burai se Achhai ki Aur" is yet another play in this book that has highlighted the way child labor has adverse effects on poor children in this society.

The mental status and psychology in children have changed due to self-centeredness and unwanted relations which has been portrayed through laughter, enjoyment, comical gestures and satirical phenomenon. Infanticide, illiteracy and child marriages are immoral evils in the upliftment of omen. Such cases are shown in - "O ri Chiriya"

Beginning with short poems, my journey towards writing plays ends up in the book - "Ekanki nirjhar" and is now on a platter in front of the readers. My humble trial to deal with such issues will rise high and low like a "wave of plays" and will quench the thirst of an outcome of such a book named - "EKANKI NIRJHAR"
