Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Allgemeine Didaktik, Erziehungsziele, Methoden, Note: 0,7, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Inklusion ist ein wichtiges Thema nicht nur im schulischen Kontext, sondern auch in gesamtgesellschaftlichem Bezug. Ob ein Kind mit Down-Syndrom inkludiert werden sollte, muss jedes mal aufs Neue entschieden werden, um das Kind optimal zu fördern. Die "richtige" Entscheidung muss individuell getroffen werden. Das Down-Syndrom ist ein sehr vielfältiges Syndrom, das doch gewisse typische Faktoren beinhaltet, die vielen betroffenen Kindern und Erwachsenen gemein sind. Um diese beiden Themenfelder zu verbinden, soll in dieser Arbeit eine idealtypische Organisation einer inklusiven Grundschule für Kinder mit Down- Syndrom skizziert werden. Welche Begabungen liegen vor? Welche Fähigkeiten müssen besonders gefördert werden? Welche Möglichkeiten bieten die verschiedenen Unterrichtsfächer? Um diese Fragen zu beantworten, soll zuerst das Augenmerk auf die Vorgaben der Regierung zur Inklusion an Grundschulen gelegt werden. Dabei gilt es zu klären, welche Mittel einer inklusiven Grundschule zur Verfügung stehen und welche Fördermöglichkeiten sich dadurch ergeben. In diesem Zuge soll erläutert werden, welche Kriterien ein Kind mit Beeinträchtigungen erfüllen muss, um an einer Regelschule eingeschult zu werden. In dem nächsten Kapitel soll das Syndrom mit seinen Merkmalen, Komorbiditäten, Motorik, kognitiven Fähigkeiten dargestellt werden. Damit Inklusion gelingen kann, sollten Eltern und Lehrer an einem Strang ziehen. Bereits weit vor der Einschulung sollte das Kind mit Down-Syndrom deshalb bestmöglich gefördert werden, um sich später in der Schule gut entwickeln zu können. Aus diesem Grund soll in dieser Arbeit auch ausführlich auf die Relevanz der Frühförderung und anderer Vorgänge eingegangen werden.
