Die Holzschnitte sind nicht bezeichnet; bedarf aber keines Beweises, daß sie Schopfungen Cranachs sind. Zwei von ihnen sind in Georg Rhaws Hortulus animae (wittenberg 1548) wieder abgedruckt und auf diesem Wege Bartsch bekannt geworden, der sie zuerst verzeichnet hat. Verkundigung (vii, 289 Nr. 89) und das lungste Gericht (vii, 291 Nr Schuchardt übergeht seltsamerweise Verkundigung Still schweigen, obgleich gerade dieser Holzschnitt in jeder Linie Cranachsches Gepräge zeigt.
