Eighth Grade Platinum Summer Connections Backpack - Summer Connections Backpacks

Prevent the "summer slide" and keep minds active with Crabtree's Summer Backpacks. Each Platinum Level backpack includes 8 items: Welcome Guide, How to Help My Child: A Guide to Support Reading parent guide, My Summer Workbook, Two fiction books, Two nonfiction books, and One high interest book in a drawstring backpack. The Welcome Guide introduces the parent and the child to the contents of the backpack and provides ways to use the books over the summer. Parents and caregivers will be confident in providing support with reading by using How to Help My Child: A Guide to Support Reading. It explains to parents the Science of Reading and gives specific activities to use with their child to build reading skills. Students are able to keep up their reading, math, science, and social studies skills by using My Summer Workbook. A Choice Board gives suggested daily activities for learning, exercise, and fun.
