Publisher's Synopsis
As we enter the Easter season we begin to hear things like Lent, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Mass, the Holy Eucharist, Transubstantiation, Consubstantiation. In addition to this, we have added rabbits and Easter eggs. What is all of this about? Where do we find those things in the Bible? When and where did these ideas find their way into the church? The focus of this booklet is to present the Biblical and historical facts about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and expose the strange practices and pagan traditions (like Mardi Gras) that have somehow become associated with Christianity.
