Publisher's Synopsis
Glen Grant Wallace a renowned correspondent whilst in Scotland from London investigating the Loch Ness Monster for an article, finds himself by a lonely hillside on a sunny afternoon and sits down. Suddenly he is transported through a fearful incident to an under Atlantic Ocean base of the Astrotars, people from a far-off galaxy of Astrola, too a base deep below the Bermuda triangle. Glen meets many Astrotars and learns their history and meets their leader The Great Astro who gives him a present of a green stoned ring and is told never to take it off. He is then placed in a Zoom-Ray machine and transported back to his grassy bank, where he is hard pressed to believe what happened, until he sees the green ring on his finger.
Glen returns to London and tells his editor Sam Juste the story and is only believed due to a strange happening in the office. Later in Glen's London flat whilst relaxing another strange event takes place, which brings him into contact with the Astrotar Arthos, who turns out to be his constant travelling friend from then on. Arrangements are made and they travel to Sicily investigating previous happenings back in 2004 which were well documented when fires burst out everywhere with no apparent reason. Finally, aliens were blamed because of bright lights in the sky seen by everyone including the police and government, as well as the army. Arthos and Glen both get involved retracing past steps with an Astrotar which has frightening consequences and Galympite attacks. The Galympites are extremely evil aliens that the Astrotars have been battling in order to save our planet from their evil intentions.
More travel ensued to Tunis and Casablanca meeting more Astrotars in different occupations. Some frightening experiences take place and some Galympites are destroyed, but it is touch and go many times for the Astrotars. Then an extremely unexpected and terrifying experience happens out in the ocean, before a return to Bermantus for a short visit.
They then go off to Chile and the Blue Marble Caves where there are some serious Galympite attacks. Arthos and Glen with some Astrotars travel the length of Chile, which has ocean on one side and the volcanic Andes on the other side which stretches 4000 kilometres.
The powers of their green rings save them on many occasions, but not only Galympites there was always the worry of volcanoes. Some of the experiences are bone chilling.
A need to go back to Bermantus the under-ocean base, to take an Astrotar home for medical treatment, which allows them a short break. Glen was to be transported back to his flat, unfortunately owing to an under ocean attack the Zoom-Ray machine went wrong and he lands in a wet field by the Galtee mountains alone. There he meets a new friend in an unexpected meeting. Then he meets another Astrotar, then when Arthos joins them more adventures lay ahead. They end up in Mexico in Puerto Escondido, crossing paths with Mexican bandits with a history of the past attached to them. There are many problems faced due to the Galympites but help comes from the sky. Arthos and Glen return to Bermantus where Glen maybe realising a dream he has held all along.
