Publisher's Synopsis
A pony's foot is made out of the divider, bottom and frog. The divider is just that piece of the foot that is apparent when the pony is standing. It covers the front and sides of the third phalanx, or final resting place bone. The divider is comprised of the toe (front), quarters (sides) and heel. At the point when the foot is taken off the ground, the bottom and frog are apparent, just as the bars of the divider and the insurance grooves (Figure 1).
