Comparisons are made between boy/girl, short/tall, country folk/city slickers, teachers/rockstars, business mother/stay-at-home mother, smart/athletic, old/young, handicapped/non-handicapped, lgbtq family/traditional family, introverts/extroverts, business father/stay-at-home father, large family/small family, and a movie star/and a software programmer. Differences, or not, Charlotte and Chopin (and all characters) always think they are ... equal. The final colourful page of the book contains all of the characters surrounding Charlotte and Chopin who are themselves wearing shirts that say "We Are Equal." Good for ages 1-7
