In Tamara's Brown's case, the root of her problems began at the moment of conception. Her father or his family didn't want to acknowledge her as one of their own. After giving birth, Jeanette came home from the hospital and handed her baby to her mother to raise because she was leaving town with her boyfriend. She never learned how to rationally control her anger so she kept it inside and that made matters worse. No one understood her, (she didn't understand herself.)
