Dustin once again makes his return to Vilhelmina along with Alexis, Daela and Amyr-a the Ish. His sister Alexis was not looking forward to returning because of the changes that Eriik, her love interest had undergone. The last time they were there Eriik had become King of all the elves and he was being forced to keep his distance from Alexis. Dustin would once again set on his mission to find the next part of the Ring of Raynlore. What he does not know, is that this time he will not just have to deal with Rhistart but a Necromancer that was growing in power and harboring a seething hatred of Dustin Anfeald. If that wasn't enough an evil that existed before Rhistart would come into play and make Dustin face a challenge that he may not survive. Alexis will have to face something she has avoided ever since she set out to find her half-brother, Dustin. Her past would be forced upon her as she has to face her Changeling past life. There she will find yet another surprise that she never knew. Dustin will once again find himself struggling to survive against overwhelming odds with the help of his loyal friends and some unexpected new ones. This time Dustin will not only have to battle to retrieve the next portion of the Ring of Raynlore but finds out that even his own life is not as important as it falling into the wrong hands but even that may not be enough. Vilhelmina may have to face yet another Dragon War as well as the Destruction of the Deep!
