Publisher's Synopsis
Dusk is a young girl whose genes have been altered in a military establishment. At embryo stage, her DNA was fused with that of a hawk - but the experiment has gone wrong and Dusk is caught between hawk and human. Then a terrible accident at the lab destroys the buildings and releases Dusk, General Rat (who is human smart) and ferocious guard dog, Wolf, into the wild. The three survive in uneasy truce in a deserted town until a boy arrives and shatters the balance. Is Dusk human enough to help him?
