She recommends him for compulsory leave to cope with what she believes maybe PTSD. She continues to treat him at home, and against her better judgment, develops feelings for him. When a chilling murder bears similarities to the unsolved murder of Jeremy's mother, the flimsy mental shield that Jane has helped him create is shattered, he's suspended and starts losing track of time. As Jane works with Jeremy to hold his fragile psyche together, one murder becomes a string of surgically precise killings - and then Jane disappears
