Publisher's Synopsis
After reading " Dry September " ( by William Faulkner), I always had a question who was victim and who was perpetrator. This story left me restless as I felt there injustice happened .But question is who was wrong ? Is it Minnie Cooper, a white woman or Will Mayes a black man .There they defined by race as this came out the solo reason of the misery .When I read the story I found two different world of Will Mayes as well as of Minnie Cooper, totally different from each other .There was, ofcourse, over powering mob who attacked Will Mayes and decided his destiny .But the story intrigued me to know more .It intrigued me to know Minnie Cooper and Will Mayes stories from their own mouth .I searched for the story which can reveal beyond the telling of mob .This is another version of 'Dry September' written by me, titled as ' Dry September, again seeking the truth ' .This version in different format tried to give voice to the man equal to the woman indifferent to their race .Here too mob decided the destiny of Will, Minne is in her own zone as though nothing happened .This writing result of my heart desire to seek truth by two different subjective minds which can break barriers of objective world.
