It is being published not because it contains the last word on successful farm practice in the west, but rather because it presents under one cover a more or less complete statement of our present know ledge concerning the methods of producing crops at a profit under relatively dry conditions. It is hoped that the book may be found of some value to all farmers and students who are interested in the agricultural problems of the Prairie Provinces.
