As I sway back and forth, my eyes are closed, enjoying the club's electric feeling tonight. With a beer in one hand and my best friend's waist in the other, life couldn't get any better.
Maria grabs my hand, beelining us to the bar. I trample over my own two feet as the 4 beers and 3 shots of vodka start to kick in. At this point, I don't think I can even walk straight... Maybe that's because I'm not.
Slamming into the bar's edge, I come to a halt as Maria falls over onto a bar stool laughing. I glare at her, groaning from the pain in my abdomen. "¡cabron!" (dumbass) I hiss at her.
