I had pre-ordered my solar powered Aptera in April of 2022 after coming across videos on social media including the discovery of Chad & Sarah Monroe's DRIVE THE LIGHTNING (DTL) YouTube Channel. The first words for the first Aptera prose, "My Aptera" came from a growing excitement and endearment of the vehicle shared on and by the DRIVE THE LIGHTNING YouTube Channel.
I was inspired by Chad's and Sarah's videos they posted while following their posted video updates wanting to learn more of Aptera's progress, production timeline, and eventual delivery. The "DRIVE THE SUN" series of my solar powered collection of Aptera prose began with an Aptera prose simply called "My Aptera." posted on the DRIVE THE LIGHTNING YouTube Channel August 13th, 2022. I continued writing new prose with a drive that was fed by the enthusiasm of other future Aptera owners seen in videos created and hosted by the fun, joyful and informative (DTL) dynamic duo of Chad & Sarah Monroe. I'm so grateful and give thanks to Chad & Sarah, DTL for inspiring and encouraging me to begin, continue my journey as an author, soon cumulating in over a dozen books, including my first Y.A. adventure novel CALINE. Much gratitude, thanks to and for Chad and Sarah. Thank you for making me and my words feel valued. This book is dedicated for generations to realize all the positivity that Chad and Sarah give us with every DTL video.
