Publisher's Synopsis
A work inspired by the Bible Verse in Nehemiah, "Drink the sweet; eat the fat," which was what God commanded the Israelites to do after they were brought home from captivity. The verse means that one should celebrate God's goodness, and the pleasures he gives when he has restored the good that you lost from trial. Drink the Sweet is a meditation on what is good wisdom, and reflects upon the kinds of things that make the author happy.
