Last year, Kate Walker found herself sifting through people's dreams, experiencing them, but unable to interact with anyone, except Nick Hall. Together they fought against a serial dream killer, who eventually turned his sights to Kate. Now, she's finding a balance between her life, people's dreams and slowly forgetting the night when the killer came after her and her sister, Jesse. Unfortunately, as she and Nick return to high school, tragedy falls on their senior year--a suicide. At first Kate doesn't read too much into it, until another one happens. She can't help feeling that something sinister is happening again in the dream world, a place she was just getting comfortable with. When the suicides connect to her boyfriend, Nick, the life Kate was finally accepting turns upside down.
