In a world where everybody can only dream in black and white, I dream in vivid colour. I've only ever known my intimate world inside Dream Life where I both work and live. At night, our dreams are our own, or at least I thought they were.
I have the perfect life. I have a doting, sweet boyfriend, the greatest friends in the world and the perfect job. On the outside it's perfect, until I start to dream.
As soon as the moon edges into her fullest bloom, I end up in someone else's dreams. I can interact with the dreamer, and he can interact with me. Perhaps it would be a scary situation except for the number of times it's happened.
I only ever fall into one man's dreams and that's Warner Marlowe. He was the dreamy guy from the first high school I attended.
For an inexplicable reason, it's always him. It's always his dreams I fall into, and I don't know why.
When he tried to show me that my perfect life is far from perfect, I'm not sure who to trust. My friends and boyfriend are always there for me, aren't they?
My life turns upside down and then Warner starts working with me at Dream Life, which makes everything weird.
He's there all the time, right next to me. At the same time, I know he's working against the company. All I know is that the only truth now comes from my dreams.
