Publisher's Synopsis
In a land where dragons are myth and the Angels forgotten, Evil seeks domination. Paladins with swords of light combat the darkness, but are loathed by those they protect. Imperial soldiers are commanded by corrupt, power-hungry generals, while bands of resistance fighters clash against the forces of Evil. Meanwhile, Mavrid, a carefree youth, lives with his uncle Jonath in a remote village, unaware of his part in this turmoil. However, as certain truths are revealed, Mavrid must unwillingly embark on a quest to save the world from self destruction. He will have to brave mountains, cross seas, encounter dragons, fight the armies of men and Evil, and stand against the Angels to rescue humankind from annihilation. Thus begins the Dragons and Angels series.
