Publisher's Synopsis
Marcie, Michael, and Allan move with their parents to Getzelman Estates; a neighborhood unlike any other they have ever heard of before. Here, all of the new homes get their names from the wonderful trees that adorn the properties' landscapes. The trio and their parents, Lucas and Morgan Markson move into Oakford across the street from the Getzelmans. The Markson children soon find out that there is something strange going on outside. The old man is strange and always seems to be around in every bodies' business. The children of the neighborhood are not like many others of this day and age; none of them have a cellphone to stare at when they are outside. The Marksons blend right in. But soon, little episodes of paranormal activity begin to take place. First, disembodied voices are heard and then the playground toys are moved around by invisible forces. Neighbors become suspects of possibly playing pranks on the new family. Somebody has to know something about what is going on. Gary Getzelman, known to the children as Grizzly, gives Marcie some insight as to what might be really happening. What they discover is incredible and forces the Markson children to look at how they treat each other.
