Dollopy Duck To The Rescue

'Dollopy Duck To The Rescue' is the story of a duckling, one of four siblings born to Mr. and Mrs. Quackers. They live on Rose Tree Farm, deep in the valley of White Dale, ownd by Mr. and Mrs. Barley.Dollopy Duck is disabled and finds it difficult learning how to paddle amd keep up with his brother and sisters. What can he do?One day, feeling sad, he wanders off to explore the farm. He meets Jack, Sophie and all the animals. While watching Sophie feed the noisy chickens, Marley, the sheep dog, comes woofing and bounding into the courtyard, scattering the chickens in all directions. Dollopy is very frightened and hides behind Sophie. Will he be attacked by this strange animal!The next day Mr. and Mrs. Quackers leave to visit relatives. Jack and Sophie set off to the local market. Mum tells the ducklings to be very careful and stay close to the nest. They may play on the pond, as long as they do not venture near the far bank where the prickly shrubs and bushes are. As they play catch and chase, they are unaware they are being watched. Dollopy Duck cannot keep up with the others and is left behind. He watches in horror as they climb out onto the far bank. They call him to join them but suddenly, EVERYTHING GOES DARK! The ducklings had been captured by Foxy, the gruff and growly poacher. He bundles them into a sack and trundles up the hill to the Dark Woods. Dollopy Duck is very frightened, but knows he has to try and rescue them before they are eaten..........................but what can a tiny duckling do against a strong fierce fox!
