Jack and Sophie set off to the local market. Mum tells the ducklings to be very careful and stay close to the nest. They may play on the pond, as long as they do not venture near the far bank where the prickly shrubs and bushes are. As they play catch and chase, they are unaware they are being watched. Dollopy Duck cannot keep up with the others and is left behind. He watches in horror as they climb out onto the far bank. They call him to join them but suddenly, EVERYTHING GOES DARK! The ducklings had been captured by Foxy, the gruff and growly poacher. He bundles them into a sack and trundles up the hill to the Dark Woods. Dollopy Duck is very frightened, but knows he has to try and rescue them before they are eaten..........................but what can a tiny duckling do against a strong fierce fox!
