Publisher's Synopsis
Entire second series of the pedigreed sixties and seventies sitcom scripted by John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie, which spawned six film versions. The series centres on the exploits of hapless medical student Michael Upton (Barry Evans), a sober and somewhat studious lad following in his father's footsteps into the medical profession. The fun focuses on he and his fellow students' capers around campus and ward - they are customarily less studious than Upton. The famous surgeon Prof Loftus (Ernest Clark) is the primary antagonist but the bigheaded Dr Bingham (Richard O' Sullivan) is equally irritating. Episodes are: 'It's All in the Little Blue Book', 'What Seems to Be the Trouble?', 'Take Off Your Clothes... and Hide', 'Nice Bodywork - Lovely Finish', 'Look into My Eyes', 'Put Your Hand on That', 'The Royal Visit', 'If You Can Help Somebody... Don't!', 'Hot Off the Presses', 'A Stitch in Time', 'May The Best Man ...', 'Doctor on the Box' and 'Finals'.
