A young provincial girl comes to Moscow to reunite with her Grandmother who abandoned her granddaughter and her own son, the girl's father, years ago. While reading his diary, Dina writes her own diary describing the chain of crazy and horrible events occurred in her family and her own destiny. During this deep psychoanalytical journey, Dina gradually comes to the understanding of love as the only and authentic sense of life.
