Through her life experiences from one divorce to redefining marriage based on God's principles has made marriage more rewarding. This book is full of written exercises to help eliminate the the errant actions of spouses in marriages. Marriage is not a human invention, but God's original design for life. Although, we think about just two people together; we should think about what the two people are doing that affects the whole of society. Good marriages make life better for everyone. Marriage is the start of something big. God's 'purpose' of marriage is a reminder to society that there is something two individuals can do in this world which no-one else can. Married couples have a unique opportunity of a union that is special and deserving of celebration... Many marriages are trounced by strongholds. A failing marriage is a sign of trounced strongholds. Strongholds are walls that one creates to protect wrong attitudes, ways of thinking, beliefs, behaviors, and other things that are against the truth of God. Also, strongholds of a marriage is anything that the spouse rely on to defend their ungodly action. Strongholds open the way for evil thoughts and emotions about your spouse to come into your mind. Once these evil thoughts enter through the open door, they latched onto your heart, soul, and mind and the spouse reacts accordingly. The strength of a marriage is directly related to its resiliency. There are many spouses that want to detect the easy way out of a marriage, when things are not going their way. Eureka had to realize that the matrimony was not her marriage nor based on her feelings. The matrimony is God's covenant. Then, there are many spouses that are trying everything in their will power to save and protect their marriage. Her husband did not want to divorce, it was her that wanted the divorce. After remarrying, Eureka had to learn that she could not protect her marriage with her strength. It is the strength and the power of God, through Jesus Christ that honor, maintain, and protect marriages. God is the bond that unites couples in marriages; not man. God gives us all the tools and strength to have a solid marriage through His Word. We have to be "willing" to listen and obey God's instruction (HIS WORD) concerning marriage.
