Diverged in a Yellow Wood

A young man at a crossroads... He knows that he's different, and he's always had trouble expressing himself to people, but when faced with the ultimate decision he opens up and shares, for the first time in his life, his unique and sometimes bizarre take on everything from friendship and love to department stores and Aesop's Fables. Will his newfound candidness give him the courage to make a sacrifice for someone whom he's never met, or will old habits continue to complicate his mind and life? Diverged in a Yellow Wood is the story of a confused young man trying to find his place in the world. His personality disorder keeps him distant and misunderstood from the rest of society for most of his life until he finds his niche by befriending two distinctly different co-workers: Tom, the good-looking jock who never has trouble finding a date, and Joe, an introspective and awkward fellow with a secret lifestyle. Through his relationships with Tom and Joe, he begins to find normalcy and meaning in his life. However, this comes crashing to a halt when a simple misunderstanding pits him against one of his two new best friends. This conflict nearly destroys him, but through counseling and a newfound mantra, he learns to accept his differences and control his emotions. Ultimately, he is faced with a decision that will test the boundaries of his entire belief system and forever change his life.
