Publisher's Synopsis
Since 2011, Crosswinds Foundation has been involved in working with warriors to help other veterans, service members, and their families who are struggling with trauma related to military service. We have produced three films, a curriculum based on those films, and a book to help warrior families. Faith was not a focus of these materials as the goal was to promote healing and hope in such a way that those who needed it would access and use the resources regardless of their religious beliefs.
In all the materials we have developed for our warriors and veteran community, the central component has always been the need for HOPE. Disentangled: Warriors, Hope, Faith is no different. You may have noticed on the cover the outer words of the subtitle, Warriors and Faith, have arrows pointing to the central word Hope. This is to emphasize that, as do we all, warriors need hope and faith gives hope.
Disentangled is the first resource we have developed in the areas of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD) and Moral Injury (MI) trauma related to military service that offers the HOPE that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Disentangled opens up the Scripture to speak to the traumas that warriors experience and is designed for personal or group study.
