Publisher's Synopsis

Collection of programmes which follow various climbers as they attempt to reach the summit of Mount Everest. 'Everest - Beyond the Limit: Season One' (2006) was shot during the second deadliest climbing season on Mount Everest and in an unprecedented move cameras were strapped to the Sherpas' helmets to record nearly every step or misstep. The resulting footage provides viewers with a real sense of what it takes to conquer the world's most formidable peak. In Season Two (2007) of the documentary series, expedition leader Russell Brice and a new team of climbers attempt to conquer the mountain. Phil Keoghan presents 'Deadliest Climb - After the Climb' in which expert mountaineers, who have already successfully climbed Everest, share the experiences they endured on their dangerous and difficult journey. 'Deadliest Climb - British Heroes' follows two climbers as they attempt to break separate world records on Mount Everest. David Tait attempts to summit the mountain from the north side, travel down the south side, and then complete the journey in reverse. Rod Baber has reached the summit of all the highest peaks in Europe but for the first time, attempts to climb above 24, 500 feet on Everest.
