This directory aims to provide a comprehensive list of UK organizations whose objects include the negotiation of, or making recommendations on, wages and working conditions, or which provide the representatives for such. Associations whose interests in these matters are limited to affiliation to negotiating bodies, and those with purely commercial, technical, educational, social or political objects are excluded. The entries show the names of organizations, the names, addresses, telephone numbers of the secretaries or similar officials, and fax numbers when available. The organizations are grouped according to the industries in which they function, that of Standard Industrial Classification, 1992 revision.
