Publisher's Synopsis
Chris is on a mission to uncover the truth about his brother's murder, but when he started this two years ago, he had no idea just how much of a distraction Diesel would be. Diesel may hold all the answers he's been looking for, but he could also very well be the reason Chris fails his mission. Despite everything he knows about Diesel he just can't seem to stay away from him.
Diesel knows. He's known since he was released from police custody without explanation. Chris isn't who he claims to be, but who exactly is he? In trying to figure that out, he lets himself get too close to a man he knows could break him. He's kept his distance from the beginning, but Chris just keeps drawing him in, keeps chipping away at those walls he's so carefully built over the years until there's nothing left of them. Giving in is probably the most dangerous thing he's ever done but that won't stop him. Despite the Disciples trying to do good, they still get hit by both sides of the law and Chris ends up caught in the middle. He'll have to choose between not just good and evil but the life he used to have and the man he doesn't want to lose.
