Weltkrieg, Note: 1,3, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Institut für Geschichtswissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Pädagogik und Alltag- Jugend im "Dritten Reich", 27 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: [...] Als Adolf Hitler am 30.1.1933 zum Reichskanzler ernannt wurde, begann das zweifellos dunkelste Kapitel deutscher Geschichte, das die Zeit zwischen 1933 und 1945 umfasst. [...] Früh erkannten die Nationalsozialisten, dass demjenigen die Zukunft gehört, der die Jugend hat. Das Regime beanspruchte daher "[...] sowohl die Gesamtheit der Jugend, wie auch den gesamten Lebensbereich der jungen Deutschen [lückenlos zu] erfassen." Die bis 1938/39 dazu erlassenen Verbote und Gesetze schalteten alle bis dahin existierenden Jugendverbände durch Verpflichtung zur Mitgliedschaft in der Hitlerjugend (HJ) oder im Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM) bzw. im Deutschen Jungvolk und im Jungmädelbund gleich. [...] Trotz aller Gleichschaltung innerhalb jugendlichen Lebens durch diese Zwangsorganisationen gab es jedoch auch Jugendliche und Studenten, die sich nach mehr Selbstbestimmung und freien Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten sehnten und daher gegen das NS-Regime eingestellt waren. Mein Interesse in der vorliegenden Arbeit gilt einer studentischen Gruppierung, der Weißen Rose, deren Entdeckung, die deren Zerschlagung und die Verurteilung zahlreicher Mitglieder nach sich zog [...]. In dieser Arbeit möchte ich versuchen, die Frage zu klären, wie die Versuche der Weißen Rose, die NS-Herrschaft einschränken zu wollen, einzuordnen sind, und inwiefern sie die Bezeichnung des Widerstandes für sich beanspruchen kann. Dazu erachte ich es für erforderlich, zunächst einmal den Begriff Widerstand näher zu definieren.
