Wirklich ereilte ihn der Tod bei dieser Arbeit, er sprach aber noch vorher seinen Wunsch aus, dass das Werk veröffentlicht werden möchte. Mir ward dann die Auszeichnung zu Theil, dass mein Freund Dr. H. W. Schroe der van der Kolk mich damit betraute, den Wunsch seines Vaters in Erfüllung zu bringen.
