Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Diagnoses of New Genera of Muscoid Flies Founded on Old Species
During the past year, the work of establishing necessary genera for the reception of already-erected species, contained in the muscoid collections of the United States National Museum, has been prose outed by the writer. A first set of these new genera, hitherto entirely overlooked by students of the superfamily, or not recognized as of generic rank, and thus ignored, was recently published.l The present paper is in continuation of this work.
