Another object which cause the selection of this sub jcet for a thesis in Electrical Engineering, was in vlew of the fact that the inductor alternator does not meet the same approval as other types of nachinse, and due to this the author de31red to in quire into the reason thereof. With the design and study of this type of machine, Chapter 1 will endeavor to show the results of this investigation.
Another point to be taken into consideration, was the fact that this machine was to be of a variable frequency, which neant in it self seemed to present an interesting one.
