With the rapid growth of information on the internet, it is increasingly difficult for web users to discover and utilize the useful information. There exist various traditional search engines, which return several irrelevant results for a search. In order to deal with this problem, researchers look toward the working of automated methods with web documents so that they can browse more organized, cataloged and relevant information with minimal human intervention. Web documents are available in different types of data formats such as, unstructured, semi-structured and structured. These data formats have to be managed and organized in such a way so that they can be accessed by different web users efficiently and effectively [ 1]. Data mining plays a vital role for efficient and effective management of web data. There are various applications of data mining techniques such as, web mining, text mining, spatial mining, pattern mining etc., which are helpful to discover interesting, relevant and useful information from web databases. With the increasing age of web technology, web mining has received significant attention for the practitioners.
