Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Spanische Sprache, Literatur, Landeskunde, Note: 2,0, Universität zu Köln (Romanisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Realidad, verosimilitud y verdad en la literatura siglodoresca, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit wird sich mit dem Begriff der Ehre im Schelmenroman La vida de Lazarillo de Tormes y de sus fortunas y adversidades beschäftigen, da dieser dort, und generell in der novela siglodoresca, einen großen Stellenwert einnimmt. Der Roman erschien 1554 in mehreren Ausgaben und war sehr beliebt; der Autor ist jedoch bis heute unbekannt. Der Lazarillo de Tormes gehört zum Genre des Schelmenromans (novela picaresca) und wurde als das erste Buch dieser Gattung definiert. An weiterer Stelle wird der Roman mit Lazarillo abgekürzt werden. In diesem Roman wird ein besonderer Fokus auf die Ehre gerichtet, aber auch auf den vermeintlichen sozialen Aufstieg, womit sich auch diese Hausarbeit auseinander setzen wird. Der Begriff der Ehre, ist ein stets präsentes Motiv im Lazarillo. Lazarillo und seine Familie sind nicht besonders ehrbar, da sie einem niedrigen Stand angehörten und kein hohes Ansehen in der Gesellschaft hatten. Als Lazarillo, unter anderem, Diener des Blinden wird, kann man auch nicht von sozialer Ehre sprechen und auch später gelingt der soziale Aufstieg Lazarillo nicht. Lazarillo hat sozial gesehen keine Ehre und erlangt diese auch bis zum Ende des Romans nicht. Um den Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit nicht zu sprengen, wird besonders auf seinen dritten Herrn, welcher ein armer hidalgo ist, eingegangen, da er im Lazarillo eine wichtige Rolle spielt und am Besten den Zwang, dem die damalige Gesellschaft ausgesetzt war, Ehre zu erlangen oder Ehre zu wahren, repräsentiert. Der hidalgo macht der Gesellschaft und auch Lazarillo etwas vor um seine Ehre und sein Ansehen zu wahren. Hierauf wird auch in besonderem Maße eingegangen werden, da in dem dritten Traktat des Romans, in dem der hidalgo auftritt, die
