Inter qualitates illas quaram inconstantia et confusio cogi tationem suscitat, primariam locum tenent qualitates ethicae et ae stheticae (liceat mihi hic et in sequentibus brevitatis causa etiam vocabula ab ipso Platone aliena adhibere, quae cur anxie vitem, causa mihi nulla videtur esse). Ex multis eis quae pulchra vi dentur, nihil non idem videbitur deforme, nihil justum non inju stum, nihil sanctum non profanam (rep. V, 479 a, b). Quae ubi contemplamqr, animadvertimus, haec quae videmus alebra id quod revera est pulchrum imitati sed non acquare haedo p. Unde fit, ut cogitatio nostra relinquat ea, quae, quod sunt, non vere ao plane sunt, et ascendat ad ea, quae perfecta et omnibus mendis exempta sunt.
