Earth's population has been scorched into near extinction by the invisible radioactive fire of the Great Burning. Scattered communities of courageous folk fight to survive against brigands, slavers, and mutants who roam a world where normal humans-namely children-have become a highly-prized commodity sought after by the Black Market.
