Publisher's Synopsis
Paul Vangelisti's new collection of poetry - his 23rd book - reflects upon nature, urban living, love and human relationships within the context of the transience of life. Intermixed with eulogies on noted friends, writers and figures of admiration, Vangelisti satirises life lived in the Southern Californian climate: a climate which offers only the slightest of seasonal alterations, and in which one's all-too-fleeting existence is best measured by shadows and the shadows of events. Vangelisti lives in LA, where he is editor of The New Review of Literature.
