Day by Day with God are Bible reading notes specifically written for women. All the contributors are women and write from a woman's perspective. The entries for each day contain a suggested Bible reading, with the key verse written out in full, a helpful comment that engages heart and mind and a short reflection or prayer. The regular team of contributors are all excellent writers. Whatever your current situation in life, you will be inspired and encouraged by these notes. Published every four months (in January, May and September) and edited by Catherine Butcher. Contributors in this issue: Catherine Butcher has edited Day by Day with God since 2003. She also edits the Mother's Union magazines Families First and Families Worldwide and has written several books. In this issue, Catherine asks what pleases God. Margaret Killingray works for the London Insitute for Contemporary Christianity. She is a Reader in the Diocese of Rochester and is married to a retired history professor. Margaret will be discussing Matthew 1-14 in this issue. Anne Le Tissier is mum to one daughter (now at university) and a freelance devotional writer. She also works alongside her husband, who is a Baptist minister, and for a Christian charity. In this issue, Anne will be discussing methods of prayer. Wendy Bray is an award-winning writer, speaker and communications consultant from Plymouth, Devon. When not writing, friends, family and cooking for them all takes up much of her time! In this issue Wendy writes on God and spirituality. Abidemi Sanusi is an author and founder of Christian Writer (www.christianwriter.co.uk). Christian Writer provides writing solutions for churches, businesses and individuals. Abidemi is currently working on her next book, and in this issue writes about God's will. Lyndall Bywater is the national prayer co-ordinator for the Salvation Army, teaching on prayer and running 24/7 prayer. She is a popular speaker, speaking at Spring Harvest and in other countries for the Salvation Army. In this issue, Lyndall writes on loving relationships. Sylvia Mandeville's work has included teaching and writing books and poetry. She is a Lay Reader in Wales, is learning Welsh and is involved with asylum seekers. Her passion is visiting and praying for Uzbekistan. Sylvia focuses on Easter in this issue. Wendy Virgo is married to Terry Virgo who, with his international team, leads Newfrontiers, a family of over 500 churches in over 50 countries. A lot of their time is spent travelling and encouraging these churches. They have five children, all married and involved in ministry. In this issue, Wendy writes on John's letters. Jean Watson's work has included teaching, editing and writing for different age groups and media - books, magazines, radio, TV. She takes in lodgers, runs a small arts group and is a director of a local counselling service. Jean discusses some of the issues surrounding prayer.
