Darkside of the Moon is a view into the darker side of my personality and the thoughts and emotions that surfaced after I experienced betrayal, love, heartbreak, and pain. It's filled with darker writings that arose after spending time processing old pain and going through the dark night of my soul in 2016-2017. I had to face the inner wounds of the child inside of me and tell them face to face why they no longer owned me or had power over me. A mental barrier is the Darkside of your true identity or as I like to call it, the demon to my angel. I tried to bury this side of myself for years and lived a very depressed and miserable existence. I needed to learn how to love myself unconditionally with my mental barrier, and I've never felt more alive and freer to be my authentic self and walk in my authentic light. I still experience symptoms of PTSD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD, but I learned how to process and nurture those negative emotions when they surface, and I learned to love and honor both the positive and negative emotions that exist within me. I dedicate this book to anyone who struggles with anxiety, depression, or severe panic attacks as a result of childhood trauma and abuse. I want to let you know and encourage you to seek the healing necessary because there is a beautiful life that awaits you on the other side of your struggles. I want you to know that you are not alone in your struggles. I also want you to know that there are healthy practices and resources available to you that will assist you with creating a lifestyle the provides you with the tips, tools, and necessary resources to live a healthy, happy, and holistic life with a mental barrier. You too can have better days and a happy and thriving life with these symptoms, and I am living proof of this fact.
