Photography student and Goth girl Elissa Greyfield, after suffering family tragedy and the unsolved disappearance of her sister, makes the life-changing decision to join the Philadelphia Police Department. Once she joins Homicide, she is paired with the detective who investigated her sister's case, Sean Winters. They begin investigating a series of murders where the victims are exsanguinated and posed as angels in Philadelphia's largest cemetery.
