Publisher's Synopsis
Cajuns living along the bayous were being haunted by mysterious preachers, demonic winds, and animals taking on human characteristics. If that were not enough, they had to deal with a woman making an appearance from her grave. Mysterious strangers come into their mist, and a terrible hurricane causes much grief and damage. These things drive some bayou residents to madness. In spite of these happenings, most Cajuns kept their sense of humor, which creeps into their tales.
