Publisher's Synopsis
DARK MYSTERIES gave us everything we could want in early 1950s horror comics: dismemberment, cannibalism, severed heads, gravediggers, vampires, bondage and more. It was one of the more daring publications in those final years before society put comics on trial and decided that they needed to be tamed. Fat lot of good THAT did the world, right? Maybe if we had been able to continue to explore our darker sides in comics, that next generation wouldn't have been such a screw-up....right? We'll leave that for the poli-sci majors, but with artwork by such greats as Wally Wood, and all the witches you can burn, DARK MYSTERIES will chill you to the bone.
THIS IS AN ECONOMICAL BLACK & WHITE VERSION OF OUR GREAT COLLECTION.
