Publisher's Synopsis
Growing up in Norway, twin brothers Erik and Magnus Rasmussen have no reason to think their lives will be anything but peaceful. Magnus enjoys working outdoors and painting, while the more brooding Erik prefers teaching and writing in his journals. Their parents have taught them to live quietly, respect nature, and be kind to others. Everyone who knows the Rasmussens sees them as a peaceful, well-respected family.
Everything changes when the brothers find their parents brutally murdered. They know they were born in Wales, in a village called Darst, and it is their parents' wish for their ashes to be scattered there by the sea.
When the brothers set out to honor those wishes, they embark on a journey that will change them forever.
