Publisher's Synopsis
As the wrath of Chenghis Khan threatens the lives of the Absalomians, their most beloved general, Omar bin Khalid, risks his life as he takes a brave stance against his enemies. Leaving his son behind, Omar leads his men to his village's neighboring allies when he is suddenly ambushed by enemy forces. As the horrid Mongols take the Absalomian general to their labor camps, Omar's son Momin will be forced to live a life without a father. This little boy grows and matures into a great man, and soon chooses to follow the same path of honor his father had taken by retaliating against the imperialistic Mongols. But his efforts, along with those of his father, meet the same fate, and so he is sent to live the rest of his days in another labor camp. While separated and unaware of one another's existence, Omar and Momin make friends in their respective prisons, and soon sway the hearts of their fellow inmates. Insurrections are soon ignited within these labor camps, and so the spirit of humanity is once again rekindled. Let us witness the unfolding of a great tale infused with heroic action, adventure, and tragedy, and hope that the Absalomian general and his son may meet each other so that they may plan the greatest uprising against the Mongols the world has ever seen.
