In 'Designate This', Max (Jessica Alba) escapes from Manticore and triggers Operation Pale Force - in which Manticore self-destructs, covering all trace of its existence. In 'Bag 'Em', a clear-up operation tries to kill all occupants who escaped when Manticore self-destructed - and Max, feeling responsible, tries to save them. In 'Proof of Purchase', Max tracks Joshua (Kevin Durand) to Sanderman's former residence. In 'Radar Love', Max and Logan (Michael Weatherly) - lonely and frustrated that they cannot be together - both reach out to other people. In 'Boo!', Max spends a wacky Halloween with other transgenics, chasing a headless body in an attempt to foil an assassination plot. In 'Two', a creature described as a 'man-dog' is attacking and killing cops - and Max discovers that one of Joshua's brothers is behind the attacks. In 'Some Assembly Required', Max discovers that her brother Zack (William Gregory Lee) is alive and living with a group of steelheads - but he is not the same Zack she remembers... In 'Gill Girl', a group of fisherman find a girl with gills in one of their nets - and believe they've caught a mermaid. But Max and Alec soon realise the mermaid is actually another Manticore escapee, and they set out to rescue her. In 'Medium is the Message', Eyes Only (Michael Weatherly) agrees to help a woman try to find her kidnapped son, but Logan and Max are stunned to learn that the boy is Ames White's (Martin Cummins) son. In 'Brainiac', Max discovers a man named Brain (Michael Bower) who seems able to predict the future after an S1W cell is busted. In 'The Berrisford Agenda', Alec (Jensen Ackles) stumbles across a troubling reminder of his past as a Manticore agent and is haunted by memories of the girl he fell in love with - and killed. In 'Borrowed Time', Max finds a temporary cure for the virus that targets Logan. 'Harbor Lights' sees Max being rushed to a hospital after being shot - but her blood work reveals some strange anomalies that tip Ames White to her presence. In 'Love in Vein', Max stumbles upon a group of apparent transgenics who survive by drinking the leader's blood. In 'Fuhgeddaboudit', Logan asks Max to help him get a mob accountant to become a police informant. 'Exposure' sees Logan and Max finding Ames White's son, Ray (Brayden Bullen) after Logan traces a call. In 'Hello Goodbye', Logan touches Max - and nearly dies from the virus. 'Dawg Day Afternoon' sees the news becoming full of reports of transgenics thanks to Ames White. Max, Joshua and Logan leave town for Terminal city in 'She Ain't Heavy', as their secret identities are increasingly revealed. In 'Love Among the Runes', an escapee from an insane asylum infiltrates the transgenic society in Terminal city. In 'Freak Nation', Max and other transgenics are trapped by police in Jam Pony, and White brings in a special team sent by the breeding cult - intending to kill them all.
