Welcome to your journey of faith. This journal is a bible-based study of faith from the book, Faith - Daring to Believe. It is also a journal for recording your stepping out in faith. What is the point of studying faith if you don't apply what you are learning? James in chapter two verse fourteen of the Amplified Version says: "genuine faith produces good works". As children of God we need to understand that the life we are now living through Christ in us is lived by faith, not sight. We are no longer children of the world system. We are in it but not of it. If this is so, then we must live by His faith, not by the rules and regulations of this present world's system. Hebrews chapter eleven and verse six says: "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him". I have met many people who acknowledge they believe in God when I asked if they did. But their experience is not at all reflective of a victorious overcoming life through Christ. They don't really believe that He will reward them if they diligently pursue Him. For whatever reason they don't believe He is actively interested in their life or interested in influencing their life. Yet Jesus said in a number of scriptures what is impossible for men is possible with God.Living in faith, believing in faith, praying in faith, speaking in faith and standing in faith have been much maligned over the years. Some of this is due to those who have pushed their understanding of faith to an extreme. More than anything though, Satan, the enemy of our souls, does not want us to live in faith. If he can't stop you believing in the redemptive work of Christ in your salvation, he will do all he can to stop you believing God for anything this side of heaven. The letter to the Romans in chapter one and verse seventeen says: "The righteous will live by faith." And Galatians chapter three and verse eleven says: "Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith." This is God's plan for us and He most assuredly does reward those who diligently seek Him. With this in mind welcome to the beginning of a new or renewed walk in faith, inspired by Jesus Christ, and available to all who believe in Him. This journal has space for you to record your journey as you encounter new joy and testimonies of faith.
